History repeats itself in Ukraine By Mariupol | Posted October 17, 2012 | Mariupol, Ukraine
Not so long ago it was considered that gas chambers used as a method of execution for people in Nazi concentration camps were a part of world's history. However, they are back in the most terrible form.
Nowadays an industrial city on the East of Ukraine is turned into a gas chamber. It's Mariupol. And it's gasping for air. Thousands of people are systematically exterminated by local ironworks.
On a time lapse video you can clearly see how much deadly waste and smoke are emitted on citizens and streets of Mariupol within an hour.
According to unconfirmed information treatment equipment is turned off or even demounted. Smog covered Mariupol. In the city there's a strong chemical stench.
Rinat Akhmetov is the owner of these iron and steel mills. He's an active supporter of the current President of Ukraine (Viktor Yanukovich) and is a member of the party in power (Partiya Regionov). He's also known as a philanthropist.
It's said that history repeats itself. No one knows how it will this time. http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-859657
